THE C.M.S. 9015 IS A 10 INPUT PURELY DISCRETE HIGH FIDELITY STEREO MIXER DESIGNED FOR USE IN THE C.M.S. 9000 SERIES MODULAR SYNTHESIZER SYSTEM. THIS MODULE IS USUALLY USED FOR SUMMING MULTIPLE OSCILLATOR OUTPUTS. SPLITTING OR PANNING VCOs INTO A STEREO SIGNAL PATH FOR DUAL FILTERING, AMPLITUDE MODULATION ETC. THIS UNIT CAN ALSO BE USED AS 2 SEPARATE MIXERS. WHEN USED IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE SEPARATE OUTPUTS OF A 9012 MODULE, STEREO PANNING OF EACH OF THE 10 FREQUENCY BANDS OF THE 9012 FILTER BANK IS POSSIBLE LEADING TO SOME INTERESTING FREQUENCY DEPENDENT STEREO EFFECTS SUCH AS STEREO COMB FILTERING, RESONATING ETC.

THIS UNIT UTILIZES C.M.S.'S NEW 4080 HIGH FIDELITY DISCRETE OPERATIONAL AMPLIFIERS TO ENSURE AN ACCURATE AND RICH SOUNDING MIX. THE UNIT ALSO FUNCTIONS AS 2 SEPARATE AUDIO MIXERS. EACH INPUT HAS A RESPECTIVE VOLUME AND PAN POT. EACH CHANNEL HAS DUAL OUTPUTS.

EACH OUTPUT CHANNEL IS PROVIDED WITH LED SIGNAL AND OVERLOAD INDICATORS. A GREEN LED GLOWING INDICATES THAT MINIMAL SIGNAL LEVEL HAS BEEN ACHIEVED. A RED LED IS ENERGIZED WHEN AN OVERLOAD CONDITION IS PRESENT.
