The
MR-2 is an upper entry level, compact, rack mount modular synthesizer
incorporating the C.M.S. 9000 Lab Series Modules housed in a beautiful
extruded aluminum cabinet.
The
9000 Lab Series Modules are hand assembled using rugged military
components, anodized black aluminum front panels, and hand selected,
large geometry semiconductors to insure a purely vintage audio
path culminating in a synthesizer that aurally and visually stands
out among the "legends", and lays waste to the "Virtual".
For
studio composition, the C.M.S. 9000 series incorporates circuits
of uncompromising precision. C.M.S. 9000 Series Oscillators are
purely discrete, and fully temperature compensated for minimal
drift. C.M.S. Filters and VCAs are painstakingly assembled and
tested to rigid hi-fi standards. The Envelope Generator modules
incorporate hi-speed, discrete, F.E.T. switching circuits to facilitate
super-fast attack curves. The power supplies use special high-speed
sensing circuits that maintain maximum isolation between modules,
assuring pure tone generation, and low noise processing. The most
useful output-to-input connections are internally pre-wired. Patchcords,
when inserted, will automatically disconnect the pre-wired patches.
