UPGRADES FOR THE ARP ODYSSEY
LFO FREE RUN SWITCH -
ALL MODELS - $59.00
It's impossible to get a slow moving sweep on the LFO while playing
your Odyssey's keyboard. The LFO also re-triggers on incoming external
gate signals from a remote keyboard. When this switch is in the
"free run" position, the keyboard and the external gate
input will not restart the LFO as with stock units.
EG TIME EXPANDER SWITCH -
ALL MODELS - $69.00
This mod installs a professional grade miniature toggle switch
(the exact model used in the 2500 modules) in your Odysseys AR or
ADSR section that speeds up the time constant on the envelope generator
to attain 2600 type percussive envelopes. This upgrade now features
a 3 position switch with an extra slow mode for extended attack,
decay and release times. Now available for the AR generator.

ODYSSEY 2 ONLY - $225.00
We can install a second ARP filter and support circuitry
inside your Odyssey that you can engage with a front panel toggle
switch. This is only available for the Odyssey 2 - specifically
models 2810 thru 2823. You will have a choice between the second
version - 4035 filter and the third version - 4075 filter. NOTE
- This does not include the price of the additional sub module.

HIGHPASS FILTER BYPASS
SWITCH - ALL MODELS - $49.00
Oscilloscope analysis of a square wave with the filter
open of any Odyssey reveals a ultra low end roll off. The Odyssey
1 is a bit worse than later models but they all have this issue.
The main culprit is the simplistic, passive high pass filter. Even
when the high-pass filter slider is all the way down, it's still
removing the ultra low end from the signal path. This switch cuts
out the high pass filter from the signal path. You will need a monitor
system that reproduces very low frequencies to hear the difference.
VCF
FM3 INVERTER SWITCH - ALL MODELS - $69.00
This mod installs a professional grade miniature
toggle switch and circuitry that inverts the frequency modulation
input #3 of the VCF. This will give you the ability to sweep the
filter downward using negative ADSR envelopes similar to the ARP
2500. The inverter also can invert the AR generator signal going
to the filter as well.
PORTAMENTO SWITCH AND PUSHBUTTON
- ALL MODELS - $89.00
This mod installs a professional grade miniature toggle switch
that turns on and off the portamento circuit. When the toggle is
in the "off" mode, the pushbutton switch provides a momentary
portamento function, facilitating more expressive playing techniques.
This upgrade is similar to the portamento setup on the 3620 keyboard
for the ARP 2600.
REAR PANEL INTERFACE JACKS
- FOR THE 2800 ONLY - $169.00
Professionally installed CV, gate and
trigger inputs and outputs for the 2800 Odyssey using 1/8th inch
Switchcraft jacks. The interface is functional with only CV and
gate inputs if desired. This new and improved CMS upgrade features
high speed operation of the gate and trigger input signals eliminating
the latency problem inherent in the old ARP retrofit for the 2800.
